This is an exceptional 1880's Aesthetic style gas table lamp. Porcelain is Longwy. On either sides of the pierced brass cylinder are charming stylized dogs. The light sits on the original black slate base. This light is in exceptional original and complete condition.
Gas table lamps in the Aesthetic style are becoming increasingly rare.
The shade is a period shade other shades are available.
