I have been setting aside exceptional examples of gas shades for 35 years. These are the best of the best the most extraordinary examples I have ever encountered.
This shade has a very elegant shape. There is an entirely different pattern on the bottom of the shade which would have required a second application of an entirely different acid resist. This would have been labor intensive.
